HCA FLORIDA BLAKE HOSPITAL
CATHLAB

HCA Florida Blake Hospital has successfully completed the transformation of their Class 2 imaging room. Orozco Architecture played a pivotal role in this endeavor, providing meticulous design services and permitting assistance.
The upgraded Cath Lab now boasts state-of-the-art equipment. Additionally, the area received a fresh makeover, including new flooring, casework, paint, ceiling tiles, and lighting.

CT SCAN ROOM

At HCA Florida Citrus Hospital, a recent renovation project has revitalized an underutilized waiting area, enhancing its functionality and efficiency. This alteration Level 2 renovation spans approximately 950 square feet and includes significant upgrades. The revamped space now features additional areas for the CT Scan room, control room, equipment room, and a specialized holding area for stroke patients. With patient comfort and safety as top priorities, the renovated area is fully equipped with sprinkler systems, ensuring a secure environment.

GRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION (GME)

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital hired Orozco Architecture to provide design services for their forthcoming GME Facility. The design intent gravitated towards repurposing an existing building and renovating it to become a state-of-the-art Graduate Medical Education facility. Orozco Architecture partnered with the hospital to find the best occupational flow.
The design strategically enhances interior space utilization and leverages existing constraints to fulfill program requirements effectively.
HCA FLORIDA SARASOTA DOCTORS HOSPITAL
PRE-POST IMAGING ROOM

HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital retained Orozco Architecture for the redevelopment of a designated space, aimed at establishing a new Pre and Post procedure area for its imaging department. The architectural design strategically amplified the existing features, ensuring optimal integration with the adjacent imaging rooms. A meticulous examination of the departmental clinical flow, in collaboration with the staff, was undertaken to enhance the overall patient experience. The scope of the project encompasses an approximate area of 2,500 square feet.
SARASOTA MEMORIA HOSPITAL
VENICE OUTPATIENT IMAGING ROOM

Sarasota Memorial Hospital retained Orozco Architecture to provide design services to their new outpatient imaging room. As a result, Orozco Architecture was able to integrate as an extension of the hospital's team and provide assistance to properly respond to the design intent.

GRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION

HCA Doctors Hospital of Sarasota retained the services of Orozco Architecture, Inc. to assist as designers with their new Graduate Medical Program Simulation Lab. Orozco Architecture has helped multiple facilities with their sim labs as part of its tenure as HCA vendors.
Through careful planning and close collaboration with the hospital's leadership, Orozco Architecture seamlessly integrated the Sim Lab Suite. The design prioritized replicating real-life healthcare environments, ensuring an educational experience that mirrors the demands of the medical field.
HCA FLORIDA CITRUS HOSPITAL
CAFE RENOVATION
March, 2023
Citrus Café is located inside HCA Florida Citrus Hospital. The existing Café was established in the 1980s; and the renovation was planned by the Hospital to enhance the serving area and dining spaces.
Orozco Architecture was retained to design a transformational space for guests and staff.
The intention is to transform the cafe into a welcoming lounge area that would facilitate interactions among occupants. To achieve this, all existing finishes were replaced. The design team effectively collaborated with the food equipment vendor to ensure a smooth and integrated renovation process for the cafe.

GME SUITE

HCA Florida Largo Hospital retained the services of Orozco Architecture to design their new 17,500 sq. ft. Graduate Medical Education Suite. The Owner wanted a state of the art graduate medical suite with simulation labs and computer laboratories.

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is located in Inverness, Florida. The hospital hired Orozco Architecture to design a new renovation for the main lobby. As part of the project goals, the hospital leadership wanted to have a space that conveyed their core values, the design focused on providing a welcoming environment that evokes transparency and cleanliness.

HEALTHMARK REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
ICU & SURGICAL SITE

Healthmark Regional Medical Center hired Orozco Architecture to provide comprehensive services to renovate their existing surgical with 2 O.R's, Pre/Post Unit; and an ICU suite.
The area of work was approximately 17,500SF.
Orozco Architecture designed the area up to the current standards and was able to improve the clinical workflow substantially.

Orozco Architecture was retained by Lawnwood Regional Medical Center to provide design services to their new rehabilitation unit.
The area of work included an approx. 7,500SF of inpatient units along with shared spaces.
Orozco Architecture specified finishes in line with the existing facility’s environment.

BIPLANE CATHLAB
December 10, 2020
HCA Florida Largo Hospital commissioned the new Bi-Plane Suite to Orozco Architecture.
One of the challenges of this project was to repurpose redundant spaces that were being underutilized. The area of the renovation included transforming an existing corridor and meeting rooms into a highly efficient Cardiac Catherization procedural room with a Bi-Plane imaging equipment.

PRE-ASSESTMENT SUITE

HCA Largo Hospital retained Orozco Architecture to design a new suite dedicated to the assestment of guests between 24 hours and 48 hours prior to their surgery.
The new Pre-Assestment Suite serves to help understand the patient's case and common space between the surgeon and the guest.
The area empowers guests, family and staff to plan the surgery, asks questions, & finalize a plan of care.
It is also an area that serves to monitor the vitals of the patient and identify metrics that staff may want to study.

Orozco Architecture provided design and project management for HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital's New Robotics Operating Room. This operating room is equipped with 2 Davinci Robots for highly precise surgery. The design intent included providing a space that is as flexible and versatile as the Robots.

Orozco Architecture was hired by Doctors Hospital of Sarasota to provide innovative design solutions for their new CathLab. We repurposed the existing archive space that was vacant into a clean and effective Catherization Procedure suite with 6 Pre and Post Bays, Control Room, Storage, Staff Restroom, Storage, and Doctors dictations stations.
